Good afternoon Venetia Families! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. Attendance has been AMAZING since we have returned from Spring Break. Keep up the great work! Students are working toward earning an invitation to the Neon Glow Party. As a reminder, students must have 90% attendance from Mar 25-Apr 28 to be invited. 3rd Quarter Report Cards were released on Focus March 31st. Our 3rd Quarter Awards are Friday, April 11th. We are excited to announce our AttenDANCE Challenge for March 25-April 28. Students who have 90% attendance during this timeframe will be invited to a Neon Glow Party. K-2nd Grade will attend an IN SCHOOL Glow Party. 3rd-5th Grade will attend an AFTER SCHOOL EVENING Glow Party. During this timeframe, students can only miss 3 days of school. Let's work really hard for students to BE PRESENT and READY FOR LEARNING!

PARENT PRAISES KINDERGARTEN TEACHER – Today’s Team Duval Shoutout comes from a proud parent who is thankful for his son’s kindergarten teacher, Devonna Merton. Dimitri Diamond shares how the Venetia Elementary educator is impacting his son: “Every week there is something fun they're doing that relates to what they're learning. My son is autistic, so keeping him engaged and understanding can be difficult, but she does it somehow. I've never met a teacher so amazing and compassionate with all her students.” Amazing work!

Venetia's Book Fair is happening all week. Parents are welcomed to come shop with students from 8:30 AM-9 AM every morning or during Family Night on Thursday from 4 PM- 6 PM. Students will have an opportunity to shop each day.

We are happy to offer Summer Camp this summer starting June 9-July 25. Registration opens March 24th. More information for registration forthcoming.

You will leave with information on how to enhance learning at home. The Science STEM Team will bring 3D pens and filament, straw connectors, and will set up a Makey Makey keyboard for students to use.
