Preparing Our Students for a Bright Future
At Terry Parker High School, we are known for encouraging students to pursue their passions and exceed their own expectations. Students have the opportunity to earn free college credits through our Dual Enrollment program which directly contributes to a strong resume for the future. We also provide multiple pathways to excel in the military and work diligently to prepare students for a successful career. As a Title I school, students and families have access to a wide array of services, including parenting classes and on-site counselors. All students benefit from one-on-one support through the exceptional education teachers who supervise and assist in our classrooms each day.
Abundant Academic Opportunities
We give our students the courage to dream big for themselves. We offer dual enrollment through Edward Waters University and Florida State College at Jacksonville. Eligible students will continue to work toward their high school diploma while also earning college credits. Our advanced career courses offer students an opportunity to explore in-demand fields such as digital media technology. All students will find abundant academic and wrap-around support at Terry Parker. Our goal is to ensure every student has every opportunity to reach their full potential.
School Spirit Shines
Our students know there is always something exciting to do at Terry Parker. We are incredibly proud of our wide variety of on-campus clubs and activities. Love drama or dance? Check! TV production? Gardening? Cooking? Check, check, and check! We also take tremendous pride in our Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) program. Our athletic programs are wildly popular with participants and fans alike. Our school spirit is stronger than ever! We work hard and play hard, developing life skills sure to serve students well into their future.

Terry Parker’s faculty and staff help students to focus on graduation and success beyond high school, regardless of path they choose. Our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program provides personalized academic, social, and emotional support while preparing students for college, the military, or a career. Our dedicated faculty are trained to help each child apply the key principles for success in life, while still in the supportive classroom setting.

Culinary Arts and Applied Information Technology Master Academies
In our Applied Information Technology Academy students further develop their skills by diving into more complex topics. Through hands-on projects, students apply their coding, design, and problem-solving skills. Students have the opportunity to earn recognized industry certifications. These courses help prepare them for college studies in computer science or related fields and for jobs in IT. Our Culinary Arts Academy provides students with real-world experience with the potential to earn certifications in Certified Food Safety Management and ServSafe(R) Certified Food Protection Manager.
