San Jose Elementary is excited to announce the 5th Annual Real Men Read event, taking place on Tuesday, November 25th, from 8:45ā10:15 AM, with an optional lunch from 10:15ā10:45 AM. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for male volunteers to visit our school and read a childrenās book to three different classrooms, helping to instill a love of reading among our students.
The purpose of Real Men Read is not only to celebrate literacy but also to engage the Jacksonville community with our school. Volunteers will have the chance to connect with students, share their favorite stories, and model the joy of reading. Volunteers should report to the front office at San Jose Elementary with a valid Florida driverās license to check in and will then be escorted to the Media Center.
We encourage families to spread the word and invite friends and family members to participate in this meaningful event.
