San Jose Elementary

San Jose Elementary is calling on the Panda community to roll up their sleeves and help save lives during its upcoming LifeSouth Blood Drive on Friday, October 31.

This life-saving event is more than just a blood drive — it’s an opportunity for families, neighbors, and community members to show their support for both public health and local education. The more donors who participate, the more money the school will raise, directly benefiting San Jose students and programs.

To add to the excitement, the school is offering fun incentives:

  • Students will receive a special treat at lunch if a family member donates blood.

  • Houses will earn points toward the highly coveted House of the Quarter title, fostering friendly competition and school spirit.

  • All donations help raise vital funds for school initiatives.

The LifeSouth Bloodmobile will be on-site throughout the school day, and will also be available during San Jose Elementary’s Fall Festival from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, making it easy for families to participate before or after enjoying the festivities.

Principal Gomez encourages the community to take part:

“This is a powerful opportunity to model service and compassion for our children. By donating blood, families not only help save lives but also support our school and show students the importance of giving back.”
