San Jose Elementary

Excitement and energy filled the air as 3rd-5th grade Dual Language students from San Jose Elementary participated in an unforgettable experience — the Jaguars Youth Camp, held right on campus as part of our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.

In partnership with the Jaguar Foundation, this special event brought professional-level fun, fitness, and inspiration to our young scholars. Coaches and staff from the Jacksonville Jaguars led the students through a variety of athletic drills, team-building exercises, and confidence-boosting activities — all designed to encourage healthy habits, teamwork, and school spirit.

For many of our Dual Language students, this was more than just a PE class — it was a celebration of culture, community, and connection. With music, cheers, and high-fives all around, the Jaguars delivered a powerful message that resonated deeply:
"Somos Duval — We Are One."

“Seeing our students so engaged and inspired was truly heartwarming,” said Principal Gomez. “The Jaguars not only celebrated our students’ culture but also empowered them to believe in themselves and the strength of unity.”

Thanks to the Jaguar Foundation, our students left the field smiling, energized, and proud of who they are. San Jose Elementary extends its deepest gratitude to the Jaguars for creating a meaningful and joyful experience for our community.
