RIVERSIDE HIGH EXPECTATIONS – We’d like to give a shoutout to the School Counseling department at Riverside High for their recent event for high school seniors. Working with community partners, they helped students complete FSCJ, military, and financial aid applications. As a result, they boosted post-secondary plans to 80%, scholarships to $6+ million, and Bright Futures to 78%! They are a shining example of how to prepare students for success after high school.

REGISTER FOR A BUS TODAY - Bus registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open. All students who plan to ride a school bus next year must be registered in advance, including students enrolled in self-contained ESE programs. Families are encouraged to register as early as possible to help ensure a smooth start to the school year. Registration forms are available in Focus. For step-by-step instructions on how to complete the process, visit: www.duvalschools.org/busregistration

A CELEBRATION OF INSTANT DECISION DAY – This shoutout celebrates the success of Riverside High School’s Instant Decision Day, an on-campus event connecting students with colleges, trade schools, and more! Students met with representatives from around Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, and had their applications reviewed for on-the-spot decisions. According to School Counselor Dr. Kristi Keefe, “Everyone walked away with something valuable, from advice to admission and scholarship offers! Kudos to those who took the time to prepare and participate. Your hard work is paying off!”

Come out to support our Riverside Band program at the upcoming Holiday Concert!

Riverside HS Graduation date has been released - Wednesday May 20th at 7:00 pm at the Vystar Arena.
