Potential Hurricane Helene: Closure Information and Updates 🚨
The City of Jacksonville is mobilizing in response to the impending threat of potential hurricane Helene. In response to the safety threat posed by the storm and the City’s need for shelters:
Duval County Public Schools will cease normal operations for students at the conclusion of the early release school day, Wednesday, Sept. 25. Schools will be closed Sept. 26-27. We made it through week one. Thank you for all of your support this week. The car line will be shorter next week in the afternoons because our after school program will begin. Only students who received an acceptance call will be permitted into Team-up. I want to remind everyone that Pinedale is a uniform school. We will start rewarding students in uniform next week.
