CELEBRATING TWO SCHOOL COUNSELORS: This shoutout comes in honor of National School Counseling Week, recognizing two outstanding school counselors at Matthew Gilbert Middle School: Albert Buckner and Ke’Yondra Merritt. School social worker Khrystal Whitlock says, “Their kindness, dedication, and willingness to help make them easy to talk to and a pleasure to work with. Thanks to their continued support and proactive efforts, we’ve seen a positive impact on student engagement and a decrease in attendance issues. Want free dental services for your student? The free dental van will be at Matthew Gilbert Middle School on January 20th and 21st. All students received a dental form that needs to be signed by you and turned back in. If your student needs a form, have them request one from the front office.

Sweethearts Dance tickets go on sale January 12th. The dance will be on February 13th. Tickets are $5.00 CASH only. You must wear pink and red to the dance.
