Join Coach Reier and the City of Jacksonville's Bicycle-Pedestrian Planning Team for an informative and fun evening focused on bicycle and pedestrian safety!
Families are encouraged to bring their bicycles, scooters, or simply wear comfortable sneakers. After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to practice the safety skills and tips they have learned.
Please note that e-bikes and e-scooters are not permitted for this event.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend and is rested up for the week ahead! As a reminder, our school day begins at 8:30 AM each day. We have several attendance incentives in place including our Random Attendance Day rewards for all students who are at school on time, as well as a whole class incentive for every classroom! Students who are late to school or who are checked out early miss valuable instruction time.
Our October School Advisory Council Meeting will take place tomorrow, Monday, October 5th at 4:45 PM. SAC meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.
This week is PE, Health and Safety Awareness Week. We will be wearing bright colors on Thursday, October 8th so we can “be safe and be seen!”
October 7th is national Walk or Bike to School Day. Families are invited to meet with Coach Reier at the Park and Ride on Beaver Street between 7:50 and 8:00 AM. The group will leave the Park and Ride and walk to the school at 8:00.

This Friday is picture day! Information went home last week. Parents are encouraged to purchase packets online, but you may send the envelope in with your student on Friday if you prefer.
Also on Friday, the Baldwin High School Homecoming Parade will be taking place at 1:00 PM. Several of the streets leading up to the school will be blocked off and early check-out will be unavailable after 12:45 PM.

Join Coach Reier and other guests as we walk and roll to school on October 7, 2026. We will meet at The Baldwin Park and Ride Lot located at 801 US 90 West at 7:45 am (lot closest to Papa Sean’s). Students can be dropped off to walk or bike; however, adults are encouraged to participate in this activity with your students. If your student is planning to ride a bike, they must have a helmet. This year at Mamie Agnes we are encouraging healthier lifestyles. We hope to have a lot of friends join us as we walk or bike to school together!
Tomorrow is the last day for memberships to count for the PTO membership drive contest! The class with the highest percentage of parents signed up will be treated to pizza!!
Don't forget to WEAR RED tomorrow for heart health!!!

The bus will be delayed an hour and a half before returning to the school. Please feel free to pick your student up from school if you would prefer.

Due to districtwide technology and internet issues, the date for 1st quarter progress reports was adjusted. Progress reports will now be released this Wednesday, September 16th.
Our September School Advisory Council (SAC) Meeting will take place at 4:45 PM tomorrow, Monday, September 14th. SAC meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend and are a great opportunity to learn more about our school and share your thoughts and ideas.
Our Olweus Bully Prevention Team Program kick off will take place this Friday. “No Bullying” T-shirts are available for purchase through the PTO and are encouraged to be worn on Friday, or students can wear another blue shirt!
