We want to give a huge shoutout to an incredible member of our school family — Ms. Lonna Davenport! 💙🦉
Even though her children are grown and grandchildren are now in high school, Ms. Davenport continues to pour her heart into our school and our students. Her generosity and dedication never go unnoticed!
She recently purchased and donated adorable graduation owls for our 5th graders — enough for the next 7 years! 🎓 Each one is thoughtfully placed in a special bag with graduation information for our students.
She also brought so much fun to our campus by providing inflatable sumo and ninja costumes for our 5th grade activities! Students and teachers had a blast during the egg-on-a-spoon relay race, and the winning class celebrated with a popsicle party. 🍭🥚🥋 Even Principal Walker joined in on the fun!
Ms. Davenport also continues to support our staff by helping with PTA teacher lunches and generously donating tooth containers for all classrooms for when those wiggly teeth just can't wait.
Thank you, Ms. Davenport, for your endless kindness, support, and love for our school community. We are so grateful for all you do! ❤️👏

Last day for parents to eat with their child on campus is 5/15. Please bring ID and check in at the main office.

🎉 Field Trip Fun at Skate Station! 🎉
On Friday, our Patrol, LStar, and News Team enjoyed an incredible field trip to Skate Station, and it was a blast! 🛼✨
We are so grateful to our amazing PTA for generously financing this experience. Your support makes opportunities like this possible and creates lasting memories for our students. 🙏💙
Thank you for always investing in our children and our school community!

Ice cream trucks are great and all…but have you ever had your teacher serve your ice cream before?! Now’s your chance to put them TO WORK!!! 🥶💪
Here’s the scoop! Come catch your favorite educators slinging cones through the @brustersjax windows on Thursday night! Check the flier for when and where to catch your teacher! 🍦🍦
All tips directly benefit your child’s classroom, and every WAFFLE CONE sold = a dollar donated by Brusters to the PTA! That sounds waffley nice to me! 🧇🧇🧇
So come on out! Because I must cone-fess, I can’t wait to see you there!

🐾💛 Making a difference, one tiny life at a time 💛🐾
Each spring, the Jax Humane Society takes in around 4,000 kittens in need of care and comfort. To help these little ones stay warm while they wait for their forever homes, NEHS students created kitten warmers using simple materials of tube socks and rice! 🧦✨
It’s amazing how small acts of kindness can have such a big impact. We’re so proud of our students for showing compassion, creativity, and community spirit. 🐱💕
