Teachers observed authentic Montessori lesson presentations and then participated in meaningful collaboration—aligning Montessori Lessons with BEST Standards to strengthen instruction for every child.

Our students danced, played games, laughed, and spent meaningful time with friends. And in true Montessori fashion, they also showed responsibility and community by restoring the environment—assisting the adults with cleanup at the end of the night.

Nine incredible 5th grade students from J. Allen Axson Elementary have done something AMAZING—the Axson Robotics Team has officially earned a spot at the State Invitational in St. Petersburg, FL on February 20–21, 2026! 🎉👏

CELEBRATING A "SWEET" SCIENCE LESSON – One Team Duval parent is praising Sandra Pond, a J. Allen Axson Elementary School teacher, for her fun and engaging instruction. Parent Harmon Patterson describes the third-grade teacher as an amazing educator known for hands-on learning and creativity.
