In celebration of Veterans Day, Mt. Herman Exceptional Students Center proudly set up a special table display to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The display featured a meaningful collection of photographs, certificates, uniforms, and memorabilia showcasing the history and sacrifices of veterans connected to our school community.
Some of the individuals in the photo are veterans themselves, while others shared items and memories from family members who have served. The tribute was a heartfelt way for staff and students to express gratitude and learn about the importance of service and dedication to our country.
Among those present were Principal Moses Williams and Assistant Principal Delores Johnson, who both joined staff and community members in recognizing the contributions of veterans. The event reflected the school's ongoing theme for the year, "Stand Tall and Shine Bright," by honoring those who have stood tall for freedom and continue to inspire others to shine through their courage and resilience.
