October is National Principals Month, a time to recognize the visionary leaders who guide our schools and support students every day. Here at Mt. Herman Exceptional Student Center, we are proud to honor Principal Moses E. Williams for his outstanding leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our students and staff.
Mr. Williams has served as principal at Mt. Herman for the past five years, bringing with him a strong belief that every student deserves exposure, experience, and opportunity — no matter their level of ability.
Under his leadership, these three guiding words have shaped the culture of our school. He reminds us daily that even though our students have profound disabilities, they still have the right to experience life fully, to be exposed to new ideas, and to be given opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive. His vision ensures that our students are not defined by their challenges, but uplifted by their potential.
Whether he’s supporting teachers, advocating for inclusive programming, or greeting students with encouragement and warmth, Principal Williams leads with both heart and purpose. His dedication has made a lasting impact on our school community.
This October, we say thank you, Principal Williams, for believing in our students, for championing their rights, and for being the steady, inspiring leader Mt. Herman is lucky to have.
Happy National Principals Month!
