Girls on the Run Registration is now open for girls in grades 3rd-5th until September 5th. There are only 20 spots available, and registration is on a first come first serve so don't delay. This is an after-school program and we will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm-4:45pm.

Good Afternoon CRES Families! Can you believe it? Our last day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is tomorrow! We have had an incredible school year and are already looking forward to Blast into Learning next school year with a space theme! As a quick reminder, dismissal for all students will be at 11:45am tomorrow. Afternoon Extended Day will not be held tomorrow. We hope you all have a FIN-tastic summer!

Good Evening CRES Families, We hope you have had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and are ready for our last few days of school. A few reminders as we head into our last week: tomorrow, we will celebrate our Quarter 4 Awards for our 2nd graders at 9:30am and our 4th Graders at 1:30pm. We would love for parents to attend these ceremonies! Our last day of Extended Day in the afternoon will be this Thursday, with only morning Extended Day offered on Friday Morning, so please arrange for dismissal on Friday. On Friday, we will begin dismissal at 11:45am. We have a week full of celebrations for students to honor their hard work and success this year at Central Riverside! Good Evening CRES Families, We will host our Quarter 4 Awards Ceremonies for students this week. Parents, we would love it if you could join us! On Monday, May 19, we will have 1st Grade Awards at 9:30am and 3rd Grade Awards at 1:30pm. On Thursday, May 22, we will have our 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony at 9:30am. On Friday, May 23, we will have our Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony at 9:30am. Next Tuesday, May 27, we will have 2nd grade Awards at 9:30am and 4th Grade Awards at 1:30pm. We hope to see you there!

Tomorrow, Kona Ice will be on campus from 11am-2:00pm. Please send a few dollars with your students for them to purchase a sweet treat! Treats range from $3-$6. We look forward to cooling off with some delicious slushies!

We have a few reminders for the remainder of this week: Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 12 is our Spring Fling from 5-7pm. Wristbands are $5 for children and $10 for 20 concession tickets. Come join us for a fun time fellowshipping! On Thursday, we will have Play Day for students during school. Please send students in comfortable clothes and sneakers. Also on Thursday, we have our Annual Title I Developmental meeting during our usual SAC Meeting at 5:30pm in the Media Center. We would love to have you there to gather your input! Hello Parents and Guardians, we have our annual schoolwide event, Field Day, coming up soon! Partners within our local community are coming together to provide over 14 game stations for our students. However, in order for the day to operate smoothly, we need your volunteer support to help manage game stations and student groups. Throughout this year, parents have reached out, eager to find school events to volunteer and this is the perfect opportunity.
