Good Monday Chimney Lakes Families & Care Givers:
I hope your Monday is off to a great start! This is our final full week of school before it all ends on May 28th . Remember, May 28th is a 12:00 noon dismissal. So, you'll have to make a plan for pick up. There is no Extended Day on the last day of school. Extended Day's last day is May 27th.
Here are the activities for the week of May 18th:
*Monday: Transition Day - all VPK-4th grade students will visit a class on the next grade level. This is help ease with transition angst. Classes are generically assigned to a next grade teacher. Please know this does not mean that teacher will be your child's teacher for 26-27. Those announcements come out at the end of July.
*Tuesday - Cheetah Champion Celebration - This is our end of the year celebration for all of the academic gains our students have made. There will be outside activities, including a bouncy house and locomotor activities, inside Dance Party and Movie and Popcorn (provided by PTA. Students who have returned their permission slips will be able to go on the bouncy house. Please make sure yours in turned in today.
*Wednesday - Awards Ceremonies begin. We will begin with Kindergarten at 9 and 11 and then VPK @ 6 pm.
*Thursday - 1st Grade awards ceremony at 9 am and 5th Grade awards at 6 pm. Graduation Walk for our CLE Alumni graduating from high school at 2:00 pm. Students will be in place by 1:45 pm.
*Friday - 2nd grade awards ceremony at 9 am.
Don't forget Monday is Memorial Day. There will be no school for all. We will see our students back on Tuesday. (Tuesday is 4th grade awards. Wednesday is 3rd grade awards.)
