We are doing a quick fundraiser this week to raise funds for the school, Double Good virtual popcorn fundraiser. It's 100% contactless, we keep 50% of all sales, and the product ships directly to the buyer!
To participate in the fundraiser follow these quick steps:
1. Download the Double Good App (free for iOS and Android)
2. Enter our event code CWZ ZAU in the app
3. Create your own Pop-up Store
4. Share with all your friends and family to purchase!
As an Abess Park community, we will each create a Pop-up Store and see Double Good popcorn! Prices for Signature Bags (5 cups each) start at just $11 and Curated Collections at $31. The popcorn is delicious and award-winning! These bags are perfect gifts for this time of year!
Our fundraising window begins on December 3rd at 9am and goes until December 7th at 9am.

Wednesday, October 30th is an Early Dismissal Day. Students will be dismissed at 1:35 pm.
It’s Time for the Annual Abess Park Book Character Parade!!!
Who: All students, grades PreK-5 may participate
What: Come dressed as your favorite book character from an appropriate book to celebrate literacy! Don’t have a costume? Don’t worry! You can make a sign advertising your book and still participate!
When: Friday, October 25th 9:30-10:15am
Where: Go straight to your classroom with your book character costume on. You can bring your book with you if you choose.
Rules: No masks or scary costumes are allowed, and all costumes must be based on a book character. Please bring the book too! Families are welcome to attend… all visitors must sign in at the Front Office and receive a visitor’s badge. Visitors may then proceed to the Bus Loop to attend the parade before exiting for the day.
