Hello Stingray Nation!

Quarter 1 is quickly coming to an end! Students now is the time to check your grades in Focus and make sure you are caught up in all of your classes. Scholarship Warnings will be distributed this Tuesday, September 29th. Please remember that each teacher determines their own deadlines and procedures for missing or make-up work. If you have questions about an assignment or your grade, reach out to your teacher directly as soon as possible. Don’t wait until the last minute, finish Quarter 1 strong!

Stingrays, please remember that a valid and clearly visible student parking pass is required for every vehicle parked on campus. This past week, large orange warning stickers will be placed on vehicles without a visible parking pass. We will also begin issuing tickets, and vehicles without a valid pass may be towed starting on Monday, September 28th. This policy is an important safety and security requirement at Atlantic Coast High School. Students who need a parking pass may purchase one in room 338 with Ms. Torres during their lunch period. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure campus.

The School Counseling Team has begun conducting individual Senior Credits checks last week through English classes. We will continue meeting individually with Seniors this week. Please check with your Senior to review the Senior Credit Check document and Senior Survival Guide.

For students applying to early admit, please note that the workshop has been changed to Wednesday, September 30th at 2:30 PM. If you signed up, you will receive an email with additional information on Monday morning.

Senior parents mark your calendars: the fall senior parent meeting is on October 6th at 6:30pm in the auditorium. Please join us for more information on graduation, senior events, senior photos through Cady, senior yearbook ads, senior bundles, and more! We will also have a special guest speaker with information on financial aid for those who are working on their postsecondary plans. Attendance at this meeting will earn your student an additional ticket to graduation so we look forward to seeing you all there.

Seniors you can still purchase the Senior Bundle which includes a yearbook, an all-season sports pass, senior clothing and gear, a ticket to prom and the new winter white out dance, and more! You can pay in full or you can make a down payment as part of the payment plan, your choice. We are extending the purchase deadline! Seniors now have until October 11th to purchase their bundle. Once you have made your purchase, you must show your receipt to Ms. Solomon during your lunch. You will find her in room 123 (next door to the media center).
