STEM education at Twin Lakes Academy Elementary inspires students to explore, create, and innovate through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Our dedicated STEM Lab provides an exciting space for students to explore, design, build, and discover. Through hands-on investigations, engineering challenges, robotics, coding, and collaborative projects, students apply STEM concepts in meaningful ways that spark curiosity and encourage innovation.

Fostering strong literacy skills is a top priority for our Wildcats. Our students benefit from high-quality reading instruction aligned with the curriculum adopted by Duval Schools and are supported by a full-time Reading Coach who works closely with teachers and students to strengthen reading achievement. To further enrich literacy learning, Twin Lakes Academy Elementary partners with Read USA, which connects students with volunteer reading mentors, and Latinos in Action, where student leaders from Atlantic Coast High School provide academic support and positive mentorship.

Students receive high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with the curriculum adopted by Duval Schools. A full-time Math Coach supports teachers and students by providing targeted instruction, strengthening problem-solving skills, and helping students build confidence in math. Our STEM Education program offers experiences that encourage critical thinking, innovation, and real-world application of math concepts. We partner with Latinos in Action, where student leaders from Atlantic Coast High School serve as mentors and role models, providing academic support and encouragement.
