Assistant Principal

Greetings Parents, Students, Families, and Community Partners!

I count it a privilege to be a part of the Sadie T. Tillis Elementary School Community and serve as your Assistant Principal!

I have been dedicated to the field of education and to Duval County Public Schools for almost two decades.  Prior to becoming an assistant principal, I was a reading coach, but have also been a classroom teacher and reading interventionist, all at the elementary school level.

As Assistant Principal at Sadie T. Tillis, I am committed to excellence, collaboration, and a growth mindset.  I will continue to diligently work with Principal Dunbar and our faculty and staff to create a safe and academic rich environment, while also fostering positive relationships with our students and families so that each child who enters our school building feels a part of the Panther Pride and develops into a lifelong learner.

I am excited about this school year and the countless moments of growth and achievement we will have. So, “Let Learning Set Sail,” because this year is a “sea of possibilities!”

I look forward to our partnership this school year and welcome your communication and collaboration. Please feel free to stop by my office, contact me by phone at (904) 573-1090 or Email Bennefield.

Warmest Regards,

Danielle Bennefield Perry
