Welcome to Seabreeze Elementary!
As a Jacksonville Beach native and a proud graduate of Duval County Public Schools, it is truly a dream come true to serve as the principal of Seabreeze Elementary. Since becoming principal in March 2025, I have been honored to lead a school community that is rich in tradition, dedicated to excellence, and committed to helping every child succeed.
At Seabreeze, we believe that every student is unique and deserves to be valued, supported, and celebrated as an individual. Our goal is to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and reach their fullest potential.
For the 2026–2027 school year, our theme is Making Waves Around the World: Passport to Possibilities. Throughout the year, students will embark on a journey of learning, exploration, and growth as they discover new opportunities, broaden their perspectives, and build the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. We are excited to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and empower students to make a positive impact both within our school and beyond.
Of course, learning is only part of what makes Seabreeze so special—we also know how to have fun! From exciting school-day celebrations and spirit events to family nights, community gatherings, and after-school activities, there is always something happening at Seabreeze. We believe that creating joyful experiences helps strengthen connections, build school pride, and create lasting memories for our students and families. Whether we're celebrating achievements, exploring new adventures, or simply coming together as a school community, we've got all the fun!
I am grateful for the partnership we share with our families, staff, and community. Together, we will continue to make Seabreeze Elementary a place where every child feels welcomed, challenged, and loved.
Thank you for being part of our Seahorse family. I look forward to another incredible year of learning, growth, and making waves together!
Warmly,
Carly Coffman, M. Ed.
Principal
