While other schools may have after-school Strings programs or offer Strings as a resource to upper elementary school-aged students, Pine Forest School of the Arts is the only elementary school in Duval County to offer Strings instruction to all students enrolled-beginning in Kindergarten during the school day.

Under the direction of Mrs. Rose Wisniewski, our K-2 students receive instruction in Violin. Once students enter 3rd grade, they have the option to join our Beginning Strings Program. At the beginning of their 4th Grade year, students may audition to be a part of our Advanced Strings Orchestra where they have the opportunity to receive additional instruction in Strings instruction to prepare them as they transition to the middle school orchestra level and beyond.
