Background screening is required for all volunteers. There are two types of background screening: Level I and Level II. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you can click the link "Become a Volunteer" above for more information.
A Linked Parent FOCUS Account gives you access to:
Student Grades: With a Linked Parent Account, you can access your child's grades in Focus.
Transportation: With a Linked Parent Account, you can register for bus transportation for your child.
School Choice Applications: With a Linked Parent Account, you can apply for magnet and special transfer option schools.
Important/Emergency Communications: With a Linked Parent Account, you can receive important automated communications from the district and your child's school.
The Parent Academy program of Duval County Public Schools is a FREE family resource that promotes parental involvement, enhances student achievement, and supports a caregiver's need for personal and individual growth. Parent Academy webinars are offered virtually through Microsoft Teams.
