I was born and raised in New York, I have a bachelor's degree in Television and Film. I worked for a year producing and editing commercials, I quickly found out that it was not my passion and educating the young minds of children was. I've taught 9 years of Spanish from K-5 and this will be my 4th year teaching second grade. I have definitely found my passion in second grade. The students make it easy to go to work. Here are a few other facts about myself, I have been married for over 22 years and have 3 amazing children, two which are in college and a Junior in High School. My husband and my children are my everything. When I am not teaching I love serving others, I just created a nonprofit "Go Make Someone Smile" I love to exercise and dance.

I have been teaching at Parkwood for over 20 years. I have taught 1st , 2nd and 3rd grade. When not teaching I enjoy going to the beach, reading and traveling to Utah to see my three grandsons.
