GATE River Run
Mandarin Oaks elementary school will again be forming a junior river run team. The race is Saturday March 7th, 2026, all runners will start at 11:00 AM. We will be training Tuesday and Thursday mornings promptly at 7:45 to 8:00. We will meet in the multi-purpose room at 7:35 to drop off backpacks and get a few instructions before we go outside to run. If it is raining, we will run either in the multi-purpose room or the bus area. Students should train on their own Saturdays.
Everything is free, training and the race. We may buy a team school T-shirt if needed for the race. Entry forms will be available in October for students to sign up. Parents/legal guardians will need to complete the form and return it anytime before December 19th to Coach Butler.
Training will begin on Thursday, January 7th, 2026. More-information will follow as we get closer to race day. If your student is morning extended day, they will come to the MPR after they have checked in with their extended day counselor.
