Mayport Coastal Sciences Middle School is proud to be the recipient of the Magnet Schools Assistance Program grant, which supports our Coastal Sciences magnet program. Our school uses its proximity to Northeast Florida’s main waterways, as well as partnerships with Mayport Naval Station, Jacksonville University, University of North Florida, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the professional maritime community, to provide students with an unique opportunity to study and understand the importance of our local coastal ecosystems.
