Our football program is committed to developing disciplined student-athletes who demonstrate strong character, academic responsibility, teamwork, and Colt pride. Use this page to access the 2026 football schedule, team roster, ticket information, eligibility requirements, and important program updates.

Student Athlete Eligibility

Students must be academically, physically, and administratively eligible before participating in football practices, tryouts, or games.

Before participating, each student-athlete must:

• Complete a 2026–2027 athletic registration in Aktivate.
• Select Football during the registration process.
• Upload a current EL2 sports physical.
• Complete all required forms and electronic signatures.
• Submit any additional documents requested by the Athletics Office.
• Meet DCPS academic, attendance, age, and behavioral eligibility requirements.
• Remain in good academic and behavioral standing throughout the season.

Registration is not complete until all items have been reviewed and approved by the JRMS Athletics Office. Students may not participate while required documents are missing, expired, or awaiting correction.

Families should check Aktivate regularly for missing or rejected items. For assistance, please contact the JRMS Athletics Office.

Fuel A Colt

Jean Ribault Middle School Football “Fuel a Colt” 2026 pre-game meal sponsorship flyer. A $50 contribution helps provide pre-game meals for one Colt football player throughout the season, while $500 sponsors one pre-game meal for the entire team. Payments may be made through SchoolCash Online at dcps.schoolcashonline.com or in person at Jean Ribault Middle School. The seven-game schedule lists: September 8, Fletcher at home; September 15, Springfield away; September 22, Chaffee Trail away; September 29, Westside away; October 6, Mandarin at home; October 14, Fort Caroline away; and October 20, Landon at home. The flyer reads, “Fuel the team. Build the tradition.”
