Mr. Atwater is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, having attended DCPS schools throughout his K-12 education, including graduating from William. M Raines high school. Mr. Atwater then attended Bethune Cookman University for two years and then transferred to Emory and Henry College, where he played football and baseball while also receiving his BS in health and physical education. Mr. Atwater received his MA in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Mr. Atwater served as a teacher for several years at Henry. F Kite Elementary and Andrew Jackson High School. He then transitioned to becoming the Dean of Students at Highlands Middle School. Mr. Atwater served as the PBIS facilitator, testing coordinator, and Athletic Director while at Highlands Middle School. He is excited to enter his 4th year on the FMS Team and looks forward to serving the students, families, communities and staff at Fletcher Middle School.

Levi Frost relocated to Jacksonville Beach with his family in the spring of 2014. He graduated from Frostburg State University with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education and began his career teaching in alternative education. After moving to Florida, Mr. Frost served as a middle school Health and Physical Education teacher while earning a master's degree in educational leadership from St. Thomas University.

Mr. Frost joined the Duncan U. Fletcher Middle School family in the fall of 2021 as a Health and Physical Education teacher and transitioned to the role of Dean of Students in 2022. He is excited to serve as Assistant Principal at Duncan U. Fletcher and looks forward to supporting students, families, and the community as they work together toward greatness.
